About 15 minutes walk

If you look out of the window from our resident’s lounge, you will have a beautiful view of Weymouth Bay, and The Jurassic Coastline, stretching around to Lulworth Cove and Swanage beyond. On the other side you can see the entrance to the harbour with the Pavilion theatre, and on the other side of the harbour, the Nothe Gardens and Fort. Brewers Quay is nearby too. In the Summer, there is a little ferry that can take foot passengers to the other side. It saves you walking around to the bridge, and great value at 50p!

For local wildlife, why not visit?

This area of South Dorset has other visitors too. There is a really good RSPB shop at Radipole Lake, just next to the Swannery car park. A short walk along the Sea Front from here will take you to The Sea life Centre and Lodmoor. There is lots to see and do there with a skate park and go karts nearby as well.
